About

I am an experienced and qualified UK editor, proofreader and writer.

I am passionate about the written word in all its forms and a stickler for getting it right, from a single blog post to a lengthy manuscript.

As the former editor of a parenting and lifestyle magazine, I know what makes interesting copy and how to achieve it. My features have been published online and in national and international publications on a range of subjects.

I work across genres and my clients include businesses, publishing houses and indie authors. Over the years, I have built up a reputation for helping companies and individuals to achieve polished, error-free copy and hit deadlines.

I work with many debut authors to help them fulfil their dream of becoming published. If you are an indie author, I can guide you through the self-publishing process. I have personally self-published several books, including four anthologies, a memoir and a series of specialist quiz books.

I work with people of all ages and from all walks of life on projects large and small. I am always happy to have an informal chat to discuss your requirements so please don’t hesitate to contact me: kim.kimber@rocketmail.com / 07882 188526.
